AN ARTIST WORKS WITH WHAT THEY HAVE

Note: Many of these art materials need restocking throughout the year but calculating by the number of students in class plus being a daily resource room for other subject areas I find that - barring specialty items or programs according to the art teacher(*) - it is important to keep an ever flowing supply of the following Art Materials for right instruction in drawing, painting, graphics and sculpture: and they can be managed in terms of dry media (drawing), wet media (painting), and craft tools for 3D work (sculpture).

1. pencils (regular pencils, novelty pencils, flat pencils, carpenter pencils, HB, No.2, ode to the ubiquitous pencil)

2. charcoal (many different kinds), and it is necessary to keep a constant supply of other drawing materials like pastels, chalks and crayons

3. erasers

4. tape (scotch, masking and painters tape)

5. rulers

6. blue and black pens

7. color pencils

8. color markers (thin and thick)

9. glue

10. paper - all standard sizes and whatever you can get your hands on. Suggest start a recycling program with the science teachers.

11. color paper (poster,construction, creche...)

12. a handful of glue guns, glue sticks, spray adhesive

13. scissors (all shapes and sizes)

14. brushes (all shapes and sizes)

15. water based or tempera paint RYBGOP one black some white

16. collection of craft "stuff" (buttons, ribbons, pinecones, & straws...)

17. sewing kits

18. fabric

19. and find local materials. Replace plastic with natural or reusable items

Nota: Muchos de estos materiales de arte necesitan reabastecerse a lo largo del año, pero calculando por la cantidad de estudiantes en la clase además de ser una sala de recursos diaria para otras áreas temáticas, encuentro que, salvo elementos o programas especiales según el maestro de arte (*), es Es importante mantener un suministro constante de los siguientes materiales de arte para la correcta instrucción en dibujo, pintura, gráficos y escultura:

16. coleccion de cosas artesanales (botones, cintas, pinhas y pajitas ...)

19. y busqueda de materiales locales a la reggio aemilia. No usar plasticos, sino los articulos naturales o reutilizables.
